Ladies and Gentlemen of the Corps;
This is NOT the regular FORCECOM report with all the numbers and awards and such. I haven't got that one done yet. This is just a note to let you all know that things are good here in the Operations Department.

Ladies and Gentlemen of the Corps,
Thank you for your patience and understanding over the past few months as I reviewed the applications for DCO Forces Command. It was not an easy decision. I had some wonderful people apply for the position and I wish to thank each and every one of them. I appreciate the offer to step up and handle the position. Most of the applicants are already holding positions of responsibility in either their unit, battalion, brigade or in STARFLEET itself, their willingness to accept even more responsibility is wonderful.

Greetings Marines,
Well with the gremlins finally under control (hopefully), INFOCOM can now get back to its normal duties. But then again since Chrismahanukwanzakah is fast approaching many of the marines here in the SFMC Data Warfare Center are hanging decorations here and there. Generally the marines are in a festive mood, which means that they really don’t want to work on anything. Once again I’ve had to remind the Marines that Vulcans are not elves. But I have to admit it is quite funny to see a Marine walk up to a Vulcan and ask them “Can you take me to Santa?”. The look they get is priceless. However while the Marines are having fun they also remember those that are less fortunate than they, especially the children. They’ve set up a collection box for Toy-for-Tots in the main lobby and by the looks of things there are going to be some happy tots these holidays. I am proud to say I’ve donated a toy or two this year.
Now can any tell me who owns that big red sleigh in my parking spot? I’m about ready to call the MPs to come and have it towed.
